Frankston is a suburb of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia, in the local government area of the City of Frankston. It is located 41 km south-east of the Melbourne city centre, north of the Mornington Peninsula. Because of its location, it is often called”the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula”.
Frankston Central Business District (CBD), Frankston East, Frankston Heights, Karingal, Long Island, Mount Erin and Olivers Hill are all in Frankston. Frankston South is an independent suburb of also shares the same postcode as Frankston.

Frankston Beach is one of the nicest beaches in Melbourne. On a still day the water can look as blue as the Caribbean, with white sand like the islands. One of our favourite cafe’s is Seaford’s Beach Cafe, located on the beach not far from Frankston.
